Matt Gunston is a singer-songwriter based in Madrid and he released a new album where he wanted to monetize his music on Spotify. Spotify makes it easy for musicians to upload music to their platform and is one of the most popular music streaming platforms in the world. Matt had a small following and we wanted to grow his audience on social which would help increase monthly streams. At the beginning, Facebook was the principal platform used since we could really target an audience that would follow and listen to Matt’s music. We used a combination of weekly song excerpts and paid ads to increase the following to his page as well as engagement on posts. Along with creating more traffic and awareness, we used live streaming to help create unique opportunities for the fans of Matt’s music to listen and ultimately see him perform live in various music venues in Madrid.
