You Should Be Using Elementor For All Your WordPress Sites

I Love Elementor For WordPress

In the online marketing space, we usually have had various IT backgrounds which eventually led us to social media marketing. Previously, I worked as Desktop support and built websites on WordPress for small businesses so that they could have a great-looking website but also were able to maintain and evolve their site. WordPress has always been my preferred CMS because of the free plugins available, ease of use, speed, and of course, great looking templates. A couple of years ago, while working on a landing page, I came across a new page builder, Elementor. At that time, there were few templates, however, they did a great job with tutorials and how-to’s which helped with the ease of use. I remembered, as soon as I understood the mechanics of drag and drop and where I could customize, I was off and running. Now, when I create new WordPress websites, I will often choose themes that have Elementor built-in because it is so easy to create a website from start to finish.

What is Elementor?

Elementor is a drag-and-drop page builder plugin for WordPress which allows you to do many things. First, it gives you a separate user interface for creating posts, pages and custom post types. When you create a page or post, you then have an option to create/edit in Elementor. Another great feature is that you don’t need to code HTML or PHP, rather all the web design is done on the interface. Also, when you are designing, it allows you to preview changes on desktop, tablet, or mobile instantly so can you make the necessary changes. Elementor also comes with free easy to use templates that you install with one click and can begin to customize; it is a time saver for sure. Lastly, and most importantly, it works with all themes. Knowing that this plugin will work with all themes is vital because I have noticed the past few years; I have become more visual when I design, and Elementor allows me to quickly design, edit and publish in no time.

How to install elementor?

Installing Elementor cannot be easier. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins, Add New, and search ‘Elementor’. Activate the plugin and it will be ready to use immediately to use in pages and posts. You can also go to their plugin website, download it, and install the plugin locally. The CMS of WordPress continues to superuser friends and installing plugins with two clicks is so easy.

Is elementor free with WordPress?

Yes! The free version is pretty robust which gives you plenty of features and options to really customize your pages and posts. Of course, Elementor offers a Pro version. In Elementor Pro, you get an additional 54+ widgets to really customize and your page or post. Not only do you get access to all the widgets available, but you also have access to the full library of templates, pages, and landing pages which there are more than 300 to choose from. If you have WooCommerce, you can easily integrate it without any additional coding as well. I have used the free version and have been very satisfied with the results and widgets available but Elementor Pro will definitely take your website to another level.

Have you tried Elementor for your WordPress site?

I have recommended this plugin to anyone that asks my advice about landing pages or websites. It really has saved me so much time when it comes to creating them. As a social media specialist, we have to come up with solutions in order to convert, increase leads, or retarget. I have had clients who used Wix for example and did not want to upgrade their plan and I couldn’t install the Analytics or Facebook pixel…what do you do? I had to create a landing page, install the necessary code and execute a successful campaign. If you have to make numerous landing pages or want to speed up your website design process, I cannot recommend Elementor enough.
